Wholesale Magnetic Whiteboards 90 x 60 cm from China
The magnetic whiteboard is the wall of every meeting room, and its quality question is answered on day ninety rather than day one: does the surface still erase clean, hold magnets and resist the dent that a vacuum cleaner handle leaves. The category’s quality spectrum hides in the surface construction, which no photograph carries.

The failures: surfaces that ghost after a month because the coating was thin, magnetic strength that fails against the printed steel of a budget board, and frames whose corners chip or whose pens ledge droops.
All three are testable on bulk boards with a pen, a magnet and a straight edge, and the tests take less time than the paperwork does. The category context is in our office furniture overview.
Surface, magnetism and frame
Writing surfaces divide into painted steel, the budget standard, glass and porcelain enamelled steel, the long life standard. The erasability and scratch resistance live in the coating thickness and cure, and the magnetic property lives in the steel layer underneath. A board can write well and fail magnets, or hold magnets and ghost, which is why both are specified separately.
The frame is aluminium with plastic corners, and the writing ledge is the touched component. Corner quality and ledge fit are the parts users judge, and the surface flatness is the property that decides whether the board sits on the wall or waves at it.
Specifications and minimum order
Steel and coating costs move with raw materials, so live figures come with the quotation. Fix these points.
| Specification | What to confirm before you order |
|---|---|
| Surface | Painted steel, glass or porcelain enamel, named |
| Erasability | Ghosting standard after repeated write and erase cycles |
| Magnetism | Hold force, tested with a standard magnet |
| Scratch resistance | Surface hardness requirement stated |
| Frame | Aluminium profile, corner quality and the pen ledge |
| Packing | Edge protection, corner caps and carton spec |
| Minimum order | Tens to hundreds per size in practice; surface material sets the floor |
Our minimum order is 1 piece, so a written on, erased, magnet tested sample is approved before any production commitment. The production minimum follows the size and surface material, and we confirm it in writing. Our sourcing service screens the board plants, which vary mainly in coating discipline.
The erase cycle test is the product
A whiteboard’s promise is clean erasure for years, and the test is exactly that: write, erase, repeat, then look for ghosting under raking light. Coating thickness and cure quality decide the number of cycles a surface survives, and the difference between a budget surface and a porcelain one is a hundred fold in that count.
Transit damage is the second issue: a board is a large flat panel that corner dents in a container. The packing spec, edge protection and corner caps, is a specification line, and our packing service covers it for consolidated loads.
What belongs in the purchase order
- Surface material named, with the erase cycle standard
- Magnetic hold force, tested with a standard magnet
- Scratch resistance requirement
- Frame profile, corner quality and pen ledge fit
- Surface flatness tolerance
- Packing with edge and corner protection spec
Checks that catch the repeat failures
- Erase cycle. Write and erase bulk surfaces fifty times and inspect under raking light; ghosting shows early on thin coatings.
- Magnet test. Hold a standard magnet set on bulk boards; the steel layer either carries it or it does not.
- Flatness check. Sight down the bulk surface; waves show as shadow lines on the wall.
- Corner and ledge. Work the corners and pen ledge; loose corners and drooping ledges are the touched failures.
- Scratch sample. Scratch test a bulk surface against the stated hardness.
These checks are standard work in a pre shipment inspection, and our factory inspection service covers board and panel plants. For the fuller method, see our pre shipment inspection guide.
Frequently asked questions
Painted steel or porcelain enamel?
Painted steel serves the value tier and carries magnets; porcelain enamel costs more and lasts years longer under daily erasing. Both are honest products when the surface is named honestly, and the honest comparison is cost per year of clean erasing rather than cost per board. Our minimum order is 1 piece for sampling either surface.
Why do magnets fail on some boards?
The steel layer under the coating is too thin or absent. Magnetism is specified separately from writing quality, and the magnet test on bulk boards settles it in seconds, which is why it is a specification line rather than a hope.
What should I check on arrival samples?
Erase cycles, magnet hold and flatness. Those three are the surface, the magnetism and the fit on the wall, which is the whole product.
