Wholesale Microfiber Cleaning Cloths from China
Microfibre cloth looks like the simplest item in the household category and it is the easiest to buy wrong. The performance lives in the yarn: a split polyester-polyamide fibre with the right weight and finish cleans with water alone, while an unsplit economy yarn of the same colour and size just moves dirt around. Nothing on the outside of the roll tells you which one you are holding.
The Yiwu and Shaoxing cluster weaves and finishes most of the world’s microfibre, which means real depth on stock programs and real risk on the cheap end, where GSM is quietly shaved and the split ratio drifts batch to batch.

The cluster map and the checks that keep a repeat order repeatable are in our wholesale household products overview.
GSM, split ratio and the edge finish
Cloth weight runs from roughly 200 to 350 grams per square metre for household grades, and higher is not automatically better: the weave and the split matter as much as the weight. A 300 GSM waffle weave and a 300 GSM plush towel behave differently on glass, and the right answer depends on what your customer wipes.
Edges decide the return rate. Ultrasonically cut edges shed less and cost less than hemmed, but cheap ultrasonic cutting leaves a hardened bead that scratches delicate surfaces. Dye fastness matters because a bleeding blue cloth ruins a white sofa, and it is tested with a wet rub, not a look.
Specifications and minimum order
Yarn and dye lots move, so live figures come with the quotation. Fix these points before ordering.
| Specification | What to confirm before you order |
|---|---|
| Blend | Polyester to polyamide ratio, typically 80/20, and whether the fibre is split |
| Weight | GSM with the tolerance band, measured per lot |
| Size | Cut size and the shrinkage after one wash cycle |
| Edge | Ultrasonic cut or hemmed, and the bead height on cut edges |
| Colour | Wet and dry rub fastness grades on the actual dye lot |
| Packing | Opp bags or bands, and no fabric softener contact in the line |
Why some cloths smear instead of clean
Three causes cover most complaints: unsplit economy yarn, a softener residue left in finishing, and packing the cloth damp into sealed bags. All three are caught at the bulk stage with a glass spray test and a moisture check on the packed carton, which is why both sit in our standard receiving check. Frequently asked questions
What is the minimum order?
Stock colours and sizes run from around 3,000 pieces; a woven label or printed band adds a small setup. Our minimum order is 1 piece for sampling.
Can we get our logo on the cloth?
Yes, by silk screen or embroidery on stock cloth; a custom woven label is a longer lead item with a higher minimum.
What fails first on a cheap cloth?
Edge shedding, then colour bleed. Both show up in the first wash, which is where your customer meets them.
