Select Trade is a Guangzhou-based sourcing team operating since 2021. More than 798 buyers — across the United States, Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and Africa — have used us to find and verify Chinese factories, negotiate and place orders, inspect goods and ship worldwide.

Suppliers contract directly with you at factory prices. Our service fee starts at 5% of order value, shown as a separate, documented line — never hidden inside a supplier quote. The exact rate depends on order size and service scope, so every project is quoted up front, and quotations are always free.

The essentials

Service fee

Starts at 5% of order value. It covers sourcing, order follow-up, the receiving check at our Guangzhou warehouse and cargo consolidation.

Minimum order

1 piece. Stock-mold products often carry factory MOQs of 100–500 pieces; custom tooling and new-mold projects are quoted separately.

Quotations

Free and without obligation. Send a product, quantity and destination market and we will come back with supplier options and pricing.

What you pay separately

The goods themselves, plus freight and any duties or lab tests, are billed by the providers involved — quoted up front so there are no surprises on the invoice.

Payment

Two ways to pay: a deposit to start and the balance before shipment, or full payment up front. We accept T/T, Western Union and Alipay.

Warehouse

Storage and consolidation at our Guangzhou warehouse are free for members — contact us to learn more.

Quality inspection: what is included, what is optional

Included in the service fee — a receiving check when your goods arrive at our Guangzhou warehouse: quantity against the packing list, packaging condition and visible defects, within the scope agreed for your order. Our team checks the goods against your specification and reports any findings with photos.

Optional, quoted per project — factory visits and audits, during-production checks, and pre-shipment inspection with a detailed report and photos. Arranged on request — contact us for a quote.

Paid separately, confirmed in advance — freight, third-party lab testing fees and any other cost agreed with you before it is incurred.

Frequently asked questions

Is 5% a normal sourcing agent commission?

Yes. Agent rates typically range from 3% to 10% of factory invoice value, with 5% the most frequently quoted figure for regular orders. What matters is what the percentage is applied to — ours is documented, and the supplier prices you see are what the factory charges.

Do you work with small first orders?

Yes. Our minimum order is 1 piece, so you can test a supplier and a market before committing to volume.

Why is the fee shown as a separate line?

Because it keeps us honest. You see exactly what the factory charges and exactly what we earn — suppliers contract directly with you, and our fee is documented on the same paperwork.
