Wholesale Soap and Foam Dispensers from China
A soap dispenser is a pump wearing a bottle, and buyers who price it as a bottle get the review score of a bad pump. The mechanism is a few cents of spring, ball and mesh, and it decides whether the unit is praised in the bathroom or thrown away half full. The moulding base around Taizhou and Ningbo supplies most of the world’s pump heads, which makes the category deep, competitive and easy to buy wrong.
The second trap is viscosity: a foam pump is tuned to a viscosity band, and the same head that whips a hotel hand soap into foam will dribble a castile soap or clog on a dermatological wash.

The cluster map and the checks that keep a repeat order repeatable are in our wholesale household products overview.
The pump decides the review score
Confirm the pump by feel and by count: strokes to prime, output per stroke in millilitres, and whether the stream stays vertical over the rated fill. For foam heads, ask the supplier for the viscosity band the mesh was tuned to and test with a soap at both ends of it. A clogged mesh is the number one warranty complaint in this category and it is a matching problem, not a defect.
Bodies are PET, HDPE or polypropylene, with stainless sleeves as the premium option. If the dispenser touches skin wash, the materials file matters: confirm food or skin contact declarations for the resin and the pump internals rather than assuming them.
Specifications and minimum order
Resin prices move, so live figures come with the quotation. Fix these points before ordering.
| Specification | What to confirm before you order |
|---|---|
| Pump | Strokes to prime, output per stroke, and the dip tube length |
| Foam mesh | The viscosity band the head is tuned to, in your soap |
| Body | PET, HDPE or PP, with skin contact declarations where relevant |
| Capacity | Millilitres to the fill line and to the brim |
| Finish | Colour, coating or sleeve, and the scratch test on metallics |
| Packing | Assembled or flat, and the carton count for your freight plan |
Match the pump to the soap before the order
Send the supplier the soap or a viscosity spec, and have the pump tested with it before the tooling or the lot is booked. One afternoon of matching saves the return rate that kills this category. For the full pre-shipment routine, see our quality assurance process.
Preguntas frecuentes
What is the minimum order?
Stock bottles with stock pumps run from around 3,000 pieces; a custom colour or sleeve is a resin or print lot commitment. Our minimum order is 1 piece for sampling.
Can we match the pump to our own soap?
Yes, and you should: send the viscosity spec and have the head tested at both ends of the band before booking.
What fails first on a cheap dispenser?
The pump spring and the foam mesh, then the finish on metallic sleeves. A stroke test on bulk units finds the first two.
